Props & Set

Props, set pieces and practical effects, built to be handled eight shows a week. Heather Cornick has headed props for Bard on the Bower and Primestock Theatre's Shakespeare seasons, carved puppets and prop weaponry, and co-designed sets for Red Deer College mainstage musicals. Her builds account for the actor's hand first and the audience's sightline second — a prop that reads beautifully and cannot be picked up cleanly is a failed prop.
